A co-op like this is ideal if you need to boost your My World Plus numbers to achieve a new ranking, or if you don’t have the time or the know how to advertise yourself.

Jeff is no stranger to co-op marketing and he has been running a very successful SFI co-op for a number of years now. Although I have not personally tried his co-ops, I have seen first hand the comments and feedback from lots of happy members.

With Sweeva, you choose your preferred day and time for your page to be shown and make a bid using some of your credits. If your bid is high enough your site will be shown to everyone who is logged on AT THE SAME TIME. This means that everyone is looking at your site and nobody elses. People can also rate your site with a thumbs up, a thumbs down or an unsure button and make comments on your page, which is a good way to get some feedback.

You can make sure you are logged on when your site is being shown, to see your site getting rated live, or you can access your stats at any time on a page like the one below. The graphs tell me how many people gave a “thumbs up” to my site and I can also see the comments that people made.

Members of Sweeva are typically very active, as being active gives you additional points, increases your ranking and allows you to earn more credits for viewing other peoples’ websites. You can earn credits and awards for viewing other sites, showing a splash page, installing a widget on your site, referring other people, tweeting about Sweeva and making comments.

This site is very new to me too, so I am still testing it out, but it seems to be more responsive than your average traffic exchange and it is a lot of fun to use.

However you are probably interested in one of the following (or both of these):

1) Are there My World Plus discounts available in my country?

2) How do I receive commissions in my country?

The answer to the first question is that you will get the most benefit from your My World Plus discound card if you reside in the USA. If you are joining My World Plus purely for the discounts then you should take a look at what is available in your country first.

You can do this by following these steps:

1) Taking a free tour of MyWorldPlus

2) Login to your My World Plus account

3) Click on Products (top menu)

4) Scroll down and use the search facility to search for discounts in your country or area.

This will show you all the discounts available in your area and will help you to determine whether or not it is worthwhile for you to join.

For receiving commissions, if you live in the USA you will receive your commissions by US $ check. For all other countries you will receive commissions via GlobalXChange.net. This system allows you to receive commissions either by direct bank deposit (for certain countries) or by ATM card (for most countries in the world).

I live in the UK and I get my MyWorldPlus commissions transferred directly to my business bank account. This has been working very well and I usually receive the money within 3-4 days.

When people receive this email they often reply to me asking “how much commission” or “is this real?”

I am going to explain exactly what these emails mean and how much commission you will receive.

The main reason for these emails is to build up excitement. With My World Plus you can earn money on everyone who joins the company after you so these emails will keep you informed and let you know when someone joins and upgrades. Every time someone joins after you and upgrades this is a potential commission for you.

Notice the word potential.

Like any business, My World Plus depends on sales to keep the business profitable and allow them to pay people commissions. It woudn’t be sustainable for them to pay a commission on EVERY person who joined after you unless you were actually bringing in sales yourself.

For this reason My World Plus puts a limit on the number of commissions it pays to people who do not make sales.

If you join My World Plus now and never make any sales yourself you will get paid commission on the FIRST FIVE MEMBERS only.

So as long as five people have joined and upgraded you will get paid a commission on them EVERY MONTH.

The commission is as follows:

Person 1 – 2%

Person 2 – 3%

Person 3 – 5%

Person 4 – 2%

Person 5 – 2%

This means you get 2% from the first person, 3% from the second person, 5% from the third person and 2% from the fourth and fifth people. This adds up to $2.80.

It’s not very much, but as soon as you manage to refer 3 people yourself, you will start earning a lot more e.g. $25 per person  + a monthly company bonus, and commissions past the fifth level.

In summary, My World Plus has an excellent compensation plan, but if you are expecting to join and make a profit without actually doing any work, there is no point in joining. The same applies to all legitimate businesses.

Viral Traffic Seeds is a very unique advertising program that allows you to have your ads displayed on other people’s websites.

This means that you can advertise your MyWorldPlus lead capture pages using this system and there is no risk to you because this is free advertising.

Just follow these steps to get started:

1) Open a free account at Viral Traffic Seeds.

2) Login to your My World Plus account and find a nice banner. You can find banners by clicking on the Marketing menu at the top of the page. Right click a banner and select “save image as” to save the banner to your computer. You can’t do this for all the banners as some of them are flash banners – try the banners nearest the bottom of the page.

3) Login to your Viral Traffic Seeds account

4) Click “Ads” and then click “Create a New Ad”

5) Give your ad a title to help you remember it (step 1), then for step 2, click the browse button and upload the banner that you just saved to your computer. In step 3 enter your My World Plus link (remember to use a tracking link as described in here)

6) Finally, save your ad.

You can earn credits for your ad to be shown in various ways. The free ways include advertising your Viral Traffic Seeds affiliate link and/or creating Viral Traffic Seeds “links”. This is all explained in the members area. Alternatively you can purchase some credits or take out a Pro membership. Pro members also get to email a random selection of the memberbase on a regular basis.

If you are serious about your My World Plus business, the best thing you can do is get your own website.

It is much easier to get search engine traffic to your own site than it is to an affiliate link AND you can put your own personal stamp on your website, as well as building a list of targeted prospects to email.

A lot of people have been asking me where my signups come from AND what my conversion rate it, so today I’m going to list all my sources here and what the conversion rate has been from each source.

The biggest piece of advise that I can give you is – if you want to succeed in any business opportunity you MUST have your own website and you MUST use this website to build a list. I started my own Home Business Ideas website back in 2004 and this, along with the list that I have been building is the main reason that I have been successful with business opportunities and affiliate programs. Ok, here are the places that I get my signups from along with the total percentage that have upgraded after pre-enrolling from these places:

1. Initial Email broadcast to my list - this was the very first email I sent to my list about My World Plus. If you have a list, the first thing you should do is email them and if you don’t know what to say, send me an email and I will email you some sample emails to use. When I emailed my list for the first time, 161 people pre-enrolled in MyWorldPlus and 32 of them upgraded to a full member. Conversion rate = 19.8%
2. Follow Up Broadcast to my list – a week later I sent a follow up email. Many people will only take action if you email them more than once.  After this email an additional 41 people pre-enrolled and 9 upgraded. Conversion rate = 21.9%
3. My Home Page – I recommend My World Plus on the home page of my http://www.HomeBiz-Direct.com website. So far this has resulted in 133 pre-enrollees and 8 upgrades. This is no where near as good as the conversion rate for my list, so it just goes to show how important it is to build a list and a relationship with that list. Conversion rate = 6%
4. My Thank You Page – When someone signs up to my newsletter they immediately see a thank you page which advertises My World Plus. So far this has resulted in 83 pre-enrollees and 5 upgrades. Conversion rate = 6%
5. My Bonus Page – When someone signs up to my newsletter and confirms there email address they are taken to a bonus page which also lists my top business opportunities.  So far this has resulted in 10 pre-enrollees and 3 upgrades. Conversion rate = 30%
6. My Review – I wrote a review of My World Plus on my blog and optimized it, so it appears on page one of Google when someone searches for “Review of My World Plus”. This has resulted in 28 pre-enrollees and 7 signups. If you haven’t written a review yet, you should write one now! Conversion rate = 25%
7. Plug-In Profit Site – I promote the Plug-In Profit Site by Stone Evans. This includes My World Plus as one of the programs and has resulted in 68 pre-enrollees and 11 signups. Conversion rate = 16.2%
8. Follow Up Messages – I have two follow up messages in my autoresponder that recommend My World Plus to the subscribers to my list. This has resulted in 48 pre-enrolles and 14 upgrades. Conversion rate = 29.1%
9. Misc Places on my Websites – I also promote My World Plus on miscellaneous places on my Home Business website and other blogs and sites. This has resulted in 156 pre enrollees and 18 signup. Conversion rate = 11.5%
10. Bought Leads – I am currently testing some purchased leads. You can read more about this in my post about Buying My World Plus Leads. This experiment hasn’t concluded yet, but the conversion rate is currently a big fat 0%.

I hope this helps to give you some ideas on what works best when marketing My World Plus. In general I find that My World Plus converts very well, without much effort on my part to close the sale.

I have never been able to recommend a particular lead source because all my signups for MWP are generated from my own website.

Also, I never recommend something unless I have tried it myself and had good results.

Today I have decided to test a lead source for you and report back the results. This means that if it doesn’t work, it’s my money down the drain rather than yours

I am NOT recommending that you do this as well because I don’t yet know if these leads are any good!

Over the next few weeks I will monitor the progress of this and see whether or not any of these members upgrade. I’ll keep you updated in this blog post.

Update Thu 21st Jan:

Today I purchased 75 leads for $150. This is a recurring monthly Paypal subscription, but the good thing is, PayPal is easy to cancel so if it turns out that this is not profitable I can cancel before the next payment. I put a reminder in my Outlook diary to make this decision in 3 weeks time. After purchase I had to send an email with my name, Paypal email address and the URL of my website.I entered the URL of my MyWorldResults lead capture page and added a source code to the end of the URL so that I could track it.

Update Tue 26th January

I’ve now received a total of 69 pre-enrollees from this campaign, none of which have upgraded to a full member. It has only been a few days, so I am going to be giving it more time, but my gut feeling so far is that these are very poor quality leads. My upgrade rate for my own leads has been closer to 20%, with many people upgrading within a day or two of pre-enrolling.

Disturbingly I received an email from one person just an hour or so after I received notification of her as a pre-enrollee. The email said “”What is this about? I didn’t sign up for this and don’t want it. Please remove me immediately”. This is rather worrying given that these leads are supposed to be people who voluntary optin to your lead capture page. I’ve also emailed a fair number of these people personally to welcome them and have received no response or questions from anyone (unusual for me) and a few of the email addresses have bounced.

I’ll post another update here as soon as I see progress.

Update 26th February

It has now been over a month since I ordered the leads. The end result has been a total of 68 Pre-Enrollees and 1 Upgrade. My conclusion from this experiment is that this lead source is extremely poor. A $25 commission in return for spending $150 on leads is certainly not a worthwhile investment, so based on this, I do not recommend this lead source.

So far with My World Plus I am finding that leads from my own website convert better than anything else I have tried. I am not saying that you shouldn’t buy leads, just that if you do, be very wary and be sure to try out a small number of leads first and don’t commit to a large payment or a recurring payment unless you are very sure about the quality.

Here are some classified ad sites:

• US Free Ads
• Craig’s List
• ClassifiedAds.com
• Gum Tree (this is a UK site, but worth a mention as it is very busy)
• Kijiji
• Business Opportunity Classifieds
• Oodle
• AdPost.com

When you submit a classified ad be sure to use a different tracking code for each ad. This way you can determine which classified ad websites and which ads are the most effective.

Spend some time trying to think of a compelling headline and ad. If you are new to writing ads it may seem difficult at first. Have a look at some other ads to get ideas and try to use attention grabbing words. Don’t worry if your first few ads aren’t great – you will improve over time and you can tweak your ads and make note of the ads that get the best results.

Using Google Adwords and other pay per click search engines is a pretty advanced technique and it costs money, so only undertake this type of advertising if you have both the time to learn about how to use it and the money available to spend on it. It can be very profitable but if you are new, it is likely that you may lose a bit of money when you get started.

The good thing is, you can advertise using pay per click advertising even if you don’t have your own website. Just use one of the URLs provided to you by MyWorldPlus. You probably want to test each of the different pages to see which ones perform the best.
