Advertising My World Plus in Google Adwords
November 13, 2009 by Suzanne · Leave a Comment
If you have not heard of Google Adwords before, go to Google and type in any search phrase that you can think of. You will see something called “Sponsored Ads” down the right hand side and sometimes at the top of the page. These ads are paid advertising and the advertiser will pay every time someone clicks on an ad. This type of advertising is generally known as pay per click (ppc) advertising and Google’s own version of ppc advertising is known as Google Adwords.
Using Google Adwords and other pay per click search engines is a pretty advanced technique and it costs money, so only undertake this type of advertising if you have both the time to learn about how to use it and the money available to spend on it. It can be very profitable but if you are new, it is likely that you may lose a bit of money when you get started.
The good thing is, you can advertise using pay per click advertising even if you don’t have your own website. Just use one of the URLs provided to you by MyWorldPlus. You probably want to test each of the different pages to see which ones perform the best.
If you decide that you want to try Google Adwords I highly advise registering for Perry Marshall’s Free 5 Day Training Course. Perry is an expert on Adwords and just reading this 5 day course will save you a lot of money!
You can open a Google Adwords account for free here and you only pay when your ad is clicked on. You can set up a maximum price per click and a daily budget to ensure that you don’t overspend.
If you are looking for something cheaper, an alternative is Bidvertiser. You can signup for Bidvertiser and get $20 worth of free clicks.
Write a Review of MyWorldPlus
November 13, 2009 by Suzanne · 1 Comment
Writing a review of a program is a really great way to get some signups. You will find that there are many people who are almost ready to join MyWorldPlus, but they are not 100% sure, so they go in search of reviews on the internet. If you have written a good, balanced and informative review you may find that people decide to join up using your link.
As an example, here is a review of MyWorldPlus that I wrote specifically for this purpose.
Writing a review of My World Plus should not be difficult if you have already familiarized yourself with it. Here are some suggestions of what you can include in your review:
- An overview of My World Plus
- The commissions that they offer
- What sort of discounts you can receive (with examples)
- What training is available
- How much it costs to sign up
- What you like about My World Plus
- What you dislike about it
- Proof of your commissions (if applicable)
Once you have written a review, post it on your blog or website if you have one. If you don’t have a website or blog you could post your review to an article directory e.g. Go Articles or you could create yourself a free blog at Blogger and post your review there.
Once you have posted your review on the internet, refer to it often and keep it up to date. If people email you asking questions you can give them the link to your review after you have answered their question.
Writing reviews DOES work. My own review of MyWorldPlus on my blog has been there for just over a month at the time of writing this post and so far has resulted in 10 pre-enrollees and 2 full upgrades.
Promoting My World Plus on Traffic Exchanges
October 19, 2009 by Suzanne · Leave a Comment
You may or may not have heard of Traffic Exchanges, but if not, they are a good way to advertise an opportunity for free. A traffic exchange allows you to earn credits in return for viewing other people’s web pages (aka surfing) for a certain length of time (usually 10-20 seconds). You can then use your credits to advertise your own web pages, banners or text links.
If you have used Traffic Exchanges before with no success, then you may want to read to the end of this post before making the decision not to bother with them!
Many people advertise long sales letters, expensive products/services or the home page of their website or blog on traffic exchanges. If you do this it is highly unlikely that you will achieve anything. The reason for this is that people surf traffic exchanges for one reason only – to earn credits. This makes traffic exchanges very untargeted, especially when compared to search engines, BUT it does not mean that they do not work!
Here are 5 simple rules that you should follow to be successful with Traffic Exchange advertising:
1) Advertise SHORT web pages only. Preferably pages that require no scrolling to see the whole page
2) Make sure your offer is attention grabbing. Ideally a page that captures a name and email address.
3) Surf at least 5 traffic exchanges at the same time using tabbed browsing. This will earn you credits 5 times faster!
4) Build your downline in the traffic exchanges. You will receive additional credits which means that you won’t have to spend as much time surfing.
5) Track your results. If you are not getting a response do something different e.g. advertise a different page instead.
Here are some step by step instructions for you to help you promote My World Plus on Traffic Exchanges. The aim of this is to earn you credits in the best traffic exchanges and allow you to get pre enrollees for My World Plus while at the same time building your downline.
STEP ONE: If you don’t know what a traffic exchange is read my Introduction to Traffic Exchanges here
STEP TWO: Join Traffic Hoopla for free. This will show you the current top traffic exchanges and help you to build a downline.
STEP THREE: Login to Traffic Hoopla and click the “1st Join” button. Join the top 5 Traffic Exchanges in the list. As you join them, enter your referral IDs in Traffic Hoopla and save them.
STEP FOUR: This is the most time consuming part and will probably take you about 1-2 hours. You need to familiarise yourself with each of the 5 traffic exchanges that you have joined. You will need to enter a URL to promote and you will normally have to surf 10-20 pages to activate your account. For the URL, you want to choose a combination of a) One of the My World Plus URLs and b) A Traffic Hoopla Splash page. This will allow you to build your downline in the traffic exchanges (via Traffic Hoopla) and also hopefully get some pre-enrollees for My World Plus.
Note – You will find your MWP URLs in the MWP members area. Read this post on My World Plus Lead Capture Pages to find out more. Try promoting a few different URLs rather than always using the same one. For the Traffic Hoopla splash pages, login to Traffic Hoopla and click the link on the home page that says “you may also use these pages”
STEP FIVE: On a daily basis, open 6 tabs inside a browser and spend about 20-30 minutes surfing all 5 of these traffic exchanges at one time. This will earn you credits and as you earn credits your own URLs will be shown.
Repeat step 5 as often as possible. Your credits will grow and you will get more exposure. At the same time your downline should grow and you will be able to surf less as you will earn credits from your downline.
Traffic exchanges were one of the first advertising methods that I used when I started internet marketing back in 2004. As a result I have hundreds of people in my downlines for these exchanges and I never need to surf myself. If you work on this you can easily find yourself in the same situation!
My World Plus Compensation Plan
October 18, 2009 by Suzanne · 10 Comments
It can be difficult to understand compensation plans for multi level marketing companies. I’ve been a member of a few such companies and my head is usually spinning after I have read the compensation plan!
My World Plus is nowhere near as complicated as some other companies, but it still took me a fair amount of listening to training calls and reading the pay plan details to come close to understanding it.
I’m going to summarize the pay plan of My World Plus here, but to really understand it you need to listen to the training call and read over the Pay Plan details yourself. If you are considering joining MWP, you can register as a pre-enrollee for free here, then login and click on the link on the left menu that says “Pay Plan”.
In summary, the MyWorldPlus commission plan works like this:
Rank Advancement (Star Ratings)
To understand the Pay Plan you need to know a little bit about star ratings. In My World Plus there are 5 different ranks:
- 1 star – Refer 3 members
- 2 stars – Refer 10 members OR help 3 of your personally enrolled members to achieve a 1 star
- 3 stars – Refer 50 members OR help 3 of your personally enrolled members to achieve a 2 star
- 4 stars – Refer 100 members OR help 3 of your personally enrolled members to achieve a 3 star
- 5 stars – Refer 500 members OR help 3 of your personally enrolled members to achieve a 4 star
The higher you rank, the more you get paid and you can achieve your rank either by enrolling lots of members by yourself, or by enrolling just a few members and helping them to enrol others!
Fast Start Bonuses:
If you sign another person up to MWP you get a fast start bonus of $25. This is paid within one week. There are actually 4 generations of fast start bonuses. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th levels are $8, $5 and $3 and you get these when people who you have personally referred refers someone else. E.g. if you sign up Peter, you get $25. If Peter signs up Mary, you get $8. If Mary then signs up Paul, you get $5.
Monthly Residual Commissions:
You get a commission from people who joined MWP after you (regardless of whether you signed them up or not). The number of levels and the percentage commissions from each level varies depending on your rank. If you have not achieved rank (i.e. you have referred less than 3 people to MWP you will still get between 2 & 5% commissions on the first five people below you. As you achieve rank by referring more people, your commissions increase and the number of levels that you are paid on also increases.
Monthly Bonuses
Monthly bonuses are paid to all members who have achieved ranks. The bonuses are 10% of the company wide profits and are split between members who achieve a rank (1 star, up to 5 stars). For example, if you are a 1 star 35% of the bonus pool is split between all 1 star ranking members.
You can see an up to date screenshot of my own commission statement from My World Plus.
This is just a basic summary of the commission plan. To understand it properly you need to login and spend some time studying it.
Your My World Plus Lead Capture Pages
October 15, 2009 by Suzanne · 1 Comment
My World Plus provides you with your own lead capture pages – these are also known as “landing pages” or “splash pages”.
The purpose of these pages is to capture the name and the email addresses of potential prospects. When someone signs up through one of these pages they will automatically start to receive emails from My World Plus telling them the benefits of the product and the business opportunity.
Your mission should be to get AS MUCH TRAFFIC AS POSSIBLE to these lead capture pages.
Here is a list of the pages. Just replace my ID (homebizdirect) with your own MWP ID and advertise these pages as much as you possibly can.
http://homebizdirect.MyWorldResults.com
http://homebizdirect.MyWorldPower.com
http://homebizdirect.OneLineBuilder.com
http://homebizdirect.BuildVertical.com
http://homebizdirect.MyWorldMoms.com
You can also track where your signups are coming from by adding a tracking code to the end of these links:L
/?SOURCE=yoursourcecode
Just add the above to the end of the URL and replace yoursourcecode with your own unique tracking code.
E.g.
http://homebizdirect.MyWorldResults.com/?SOURCE=mwpblogpost
The company wide upgrade rate is around 10%. This means that for every 10 email addresses you capture, on average 1 person will upgrade.
Personally I have had more than a 20% upgrade rate so far. You may find that you get more than 10% upgrading, or you may find less than 10% as this is just an average figure.
The main thing is, you need to FOCUS on driving as much traffic as possible to these pages to give yourself the maximum chance of upgrades.
Remember that you will receive a $25 fast start bonus, paid within a week, for everyone you sign up who upgrades.
How to Get Started with My World Plus
October 15, 2009 by Suzanne · Leave a Comment
If you have just joined My World Plus and aren’t quite sure how to get started here are a few tips.
1) The first thing you should do is familiarize yourself with the My World Plus Members Area. Login here and click on the Training link in the menu. Here you will find information on how to use your card to make savings, how to build your downline, banners for your website and a library of training calls.
2) I highly recommend taking 45 minutes or so to listen to one of the training calls. You can either dial in and listen live or click on the link on the left hand side that says “Listen Now”. If you are serious about your business then you should be able to make time to do this.
3) Use the product. This will be easiest if you live in the USA as you have the widest range of discounts available to you. By using the product you can understand the benefits of it and hopefully this will make it a lot easier for you to recommend the product to others. In the training call that I listened to, the speaker talked about how people had asked him where he got all these discounts coupons from. He was able to sign people up to My World Plus just because they had seen him using the coupons and were interested in doing the same!
4) Add some My World Plus promotions to your website. If you have a website you should add My World Plus somewhere prominent as soon as possible. If you are not sure how to do this please feel free to contact me and I will help you out. I am happy to add promotions to your website free of charge if you are in my downline. If you don’t have a website there are plenty tips on this training site on how to promote My World Plus without a website.
5) Send an email to your list. Ideally you want to email your list 5-7 days before a Thursday. Thursday is the cutoff day for pre-enrollees to “lock in” their downline. The best thing to do is send a promotion out and then follow up with a second message the following Thursday. If you are not sure what to say in your email and you are in my downline please contact me and I will send you two sample emails.
All of the above shouldn’t take you more than 2 or 3 hours and it is well worth the effort. When I did 4) and 5) above I made over $1000 in commission for my first week of promotion.
